This series is designed to teach you the most effective movements to sculpt the beach body of your dreams so that you can develop a home fitness routine. Whether you are a long time yogi or are new to the practice these classes are for everyone. You will learn how to isolate and engage the muscles of your core, booty, arms and legs. Yoga For Cyclists Series with Sara Schwartz

Riding your bike is the best! In the long run however it can leave your legs tight (strong) and your abdomen and arms not quite as strong. The riding position is aerodynamic but can also lead to overly kyphotic (hunched over) tendency in your posture. In this course you will learn some poses to help balance strength throughout your body and stretch your hardworking muscles. You will also learn simple inversions (legs above the head) to rest the veins in your legs. All levels welcome! Even if you aren't a cyclist but want to focus on leg stretching, backbending, abdominal strengthening, and arm strengthening this is the course for you.

Are you curious about meditating? If you are feeling intimidated or aren’t sure you’re doing it right, this series will teach you the basics of meditation, posture and studio etiquette. In addition, you will learn the history, philosophy and science behind it. Students will experience and receive info about developing a practice at home and in the studio.

Are you curious about yoga but don’t know where to start? If you have been intimidated or aren’t sure if yoga is right for you, this series is designed to teach you the principles of yoga philosophy, studio etiquette and will break down the basics of a yoga class. Students will be given information and knowledge about developing a yoga practice in a safe and supportive environment while progressing to a full yoga class during the last session.
